Where did you complete your training (or where are you still in training)?
I am currently training with Breathing Space to be a Breathwork Facilitator.
What do you enjoy about breathwork and how has it helped you?
I love the simplest of medicines. Breathing consciously helps me to ease emotional ripples, clear myself mentally and bring my body into a restorative healing mode.
Are you trained in any other modalities?
I have previously trained as a Satyananda yoga teacher, in pregnancy yoga, womb yoga with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, various holistic therapies (lomi lomi massage, facials, ear candling etc) and a Diploma in Ayurveda with Satmya, Ireland.
How do they integrate with breathwork?
They integrate seamlessly with breathwork. Yoga relies on conscious breathing as the practice within the practice. Conscious, Restorative breathing patterns support both practitioner and client to be in a space of intentional healing.
What is your personal journey?
My personal journey was indeed personal! I sought healing practices from a very young age. I started yoga at fourteen years of age in the local church hall. I also attended holistic therapies from the age of twelve. It’s a space of being I’ve always loved, been nourished by and sought out. Ive had plenty to heal from in my life and these practices have all played a role in my growth and restoration to myself through the trials and tribulations of my life. It’s the only thing it make sense to me to do in the world, which can be dark and difficult at times along the human journey – to dedicate myself to the light in human, to restoration and growth.
What do you stand for, and what do you stand against?
I stand for love. I stand against all that would tear love down.
What is your greatest wish for your clients
My greatest wish for my clients is to support their own greatest wish for themselves. I fully believe in the intuition, sovereignty and innate wisdom of each human being and I’m here to tap into and support that.
